Help with reading comprehension?

Well you can ask your teacher if you could take a reading cl since you don't understand and they can teach you some ways to comprehend better. Or reading out loud might help. maybe every paragraph you could write down some of the things in a summery and then re read what you wrote when you have finshed the story...
