14 dead Americans in Afghanistan yesterday, 7 more today. Why is Obama losing control of the situation?

The only thing that is causing "Obama's war policy" to fail is that we stopped the Bush policy of paying insurgents in Iraq not to bomb each other. And according to the SOFA signed by Bush, a huge number of troops have been withdrawn from Iraq. Unless you plan to reinstall the troops that have been withdrawn and leave them there forever, you will consider his "military policy" a failure. But then, you would have either way, wouldn't you? And the reason more are dying in Afghanistan is that the soldiers withdrawn from Iraq were sent there to try and refocus on the correct war. More troops means more casualties.
