Scared to fall in love?

You seem like a great boyfriend and did all you could. The positive though is that she told you before you guys did get married, maybe she sensed you wanting to propose and she got scared. If you felt you've said and done all you could, maybe you should let her go. Let her have her space and let her figure out exactly what she wants. Letting go is one way of saying you love her. I am also scared of commitment and have met many guys that seem to want something serious, faster then I do and I back out. Never 3 years but you can't force her to love. It seems like she does care for you though, in opening up and telling you this and being honest. If it is one of those "phases" then when you let her go she'll realize this and come back to you, but if she doesn't, then appreciate the time you had together, as hard as it seems.
