How do you find an artist of a rare fish plate, named Paliezia? Spelling not correct, its over 100 yrs old.?

I cannot find any info on a heirloom fish platter my g-ma is leaving to me. This artist was well known for his fish sculpting. She told me of his name but because I do not know how to spell it, nothing comes up on my web searches. She claims this plate is well over 200 years old (hu???) and it has a raised catfish in the center of the plate with shrimp, lobsters, minnows ect raised as well all around the catfish. The best way for me to say his name is "Polazzio"??? HELP!!! I am desperate to know if I need to insure this thing.
